THRC is thrilled to have Kerry’s Place, back in Halton. Canada’s largest service providers to families with children, adolescents, and adults, with Autism Spectrum Disorder. This two hour session will introduce parents, caregivers and professionals to the distinct ways in which Autistic individuals may experience sensory stimuli. Participants will review the senses and sensory systems that impact everyone in different ways and learn strategies that may assist a person with Autism in coping with sensory stimuli. As a result of participating in this workshop, participants will be able to:
