Participants will learn the principles behind a proven approach and simple, practical strategies for making mealtimes more comfortable for everyone at the table. This presentation incorporates the foundational principles of How Does Learning Happen (2014), recognizing that children, families, and educators are all competent and capable, curious, and rich in experience. Participants will leave this session with: • A clear picture of what “healthy eating” looks like for young children. Intended Audience: Licensed Child Care Educators, School-Age Educators, EarlyON Educators, Licensed Home Child Care Providers/Home Visitor, Resource Consultants, Supervisors, Managers, Owners, Operators, Support Staff, School Board Staff If this session is full, e-mail administrativeassistant@thrc.ca to be put on the waitlist. |
