Neurodivergent children may express their emotions and navigate changes in ways that differ from neurotypical expectations. This session will explore how to recognize and respond to emotional and behavioral expressions in neurodivergent children with empathy, understanding, and inclusivity. We will discuss strategies rooted in co-regulation, sensory awareness, and individualized support to help children feel safe, understood, and empowered in their environments.
