Managing Behaviour in the Classroom | Thursday, February 13, 2025 | ||

In this session participants will have the opportunity to explore different variables that impact behaviour in the classroom and learn how to better understand the “why” behind challenging behaviour. Participants will explore proactive strategies for classroom wide support as well as strategies for supporting struggling students and keeping everyone safe. Participants will also learn how to promote neuroaffirming practices to ensure that students with varying needs are supported and thriving. Facilitated by: Shiri Bartman, M.A., C. Psych., BCBA, RBA (Ont. Shiri Bartman is a Psychologist and registered Behaviour Analyst with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. She has worked with children and young adults diagnosed with autism, ADHD, intellectual disability, learning disabilities and behavioural challenges for almost 30 years. |
