Managing and Understanding Aggressive and Challenging Behaviours

This session will support educators in understanding and managing children with aggressive behaviours. During this session a variety of interactive exercises will be shared to allow educators to practice these skills.
In this session, participants will learn:
  • Self-regulation strategies a child can use during moments that exhibit aggressive behaviour
  • New strategies on how to support their children using co-regulation skills
  • Giving the participants an opportunity to share their success as well as their struggles in a safe and validating environment

Intended Audience: Licensed Child Care Educators, School-Age Educators, Licensed Home Child Care Providers/Home Visitor,  Supervisors, Managers, Support Staff, School Board Educators
