The Legacy of Attachment and Trauma Wednesday, April 9, 2025
6:30pm-8:00pm

We often say that children are resilient and deny the impact of early life experiences. Emerging research demonstrates the critical value of our first caregivers to create an enduring blueprint for how we experience ourselves and others. Exposure to traumatic events also fundamentally shapes the way we see and respond to the world. This workshop explores the relationship between attachment and trauma and the preventative power of early interventions.

In this session, participants will learn:
1. How our attachment experiences in early childhood shape our future relationships

2. The enduring impact of trauma on the developing brains and bodies of children

3. The surprising connection between attachment and trauma 4. How to recover and heal from childhood attachment disruptions and exposure to trauma
