9:00am-3:30pm

THRC is thrilled to welcome back Zoe Mitchell, Consultant and Coach. Zoe looks forward to supporting and helping us discover ways to foster Belonging and build Psychologically Safety.

Psychologically Safe workplaces cultures have many benefits including increased job satisfaction, reduces employee turnover, improves employee engagement, promotes diversity of thought, boosting performance, improves mental and physical wellness for all employees, and much more. Building upon Inclusion & Belonging work, the following session will provide insights and best practices to support teams on building and sustaining a culture of Psychological Safety for themselves and the families they work with.

In this session, participants will learn:

  • Explore the stages, cots and benefits of building Psychological Safety
  • Recognize the signs of unsafe and safe working cultures
  • Learn some best practices that support Psychological Safety
  • Understand how to implement Psychological Safety best practices during recruitment and beyond

In the afternoon join THRC’s Pedagogical Mentor, Liz Reddy as we come together for a discussion on Self-Regulation. We will look at the 5 steps and 5 domains of  Self-Regulation that Dr. Stuart Shanker has developed and then explore what this looks like in practice as an educator and how to support building these skills with the children in your care.
