Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Request

THRC is providing PPE to the Early Learning Sector in Halton. Organizations and agencies can make PPE requests using our online Emergency Request form. Please contact [email protected] for immediate support Monday to Friday from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm.

PPE Request FAQs

  1. What is the cost to order PPE from THRC?
    The funding allocation is supported from the Region of Halton and therefore there is no cost to licensed operators and EarlyON programs.
  2. When will my order be ready?
    Requests will be accepted on a monthly basis and can be used to restock your PPE inventory.  Deadlines will be posted on the PPE page at
  3. How soon can I receive my emergency PPE request?
    Once your order is confirmed you are able to pick up your emergency supply curbside based on available stock. 
  4. Is it delivery or pick up?
    The standard PPE request is delivered to your program location. Emergency PPE request will be curbside pickup at THRC, 410 Bronte St. S. with a scheduled appointment.  Based on available stock.
  5. I have to place orders for our other locations as well, do I need to fill out multiple requests?
    Yes, fill out a new Standard PPE application for different addresses.  If you prefer delivery to only one location please note the multiple sites in your request form or contact us at [email protected] or 905-875-4600 x 101 
  6. Why are masks and shields not available on the standard request form?
    At this time the Ministry of Education is providing each licensed program and EarlyON centre with these items. If your Ministry order has not arrived, you may order masks and shields on the Emergency Form. You may contact the Ministry at [email protected] to inquire about the status of your monthly order.
  7. When will my order arrive?
    Once the order has been placed you will receive an email from 
    [email protected] to confirm your order has been received.  A second email will be sent with your anticipated delivery date. 
  8. My order didn’t arrive, or items are missing.
    If you do not receive your order or items are missing please contact [email protected] to confirm the status of your order.  If needed, we may be able to provide the missing items from our emergency stock.   
  9. Can I choose my brand of disinfectant?
    Unfortunately, no.  To continue to keep our costs down and buy in bulk we are not able to provide all brands of disinfectant. THRC will provide the SDS forms for the disinfectant provided with all current sanitization and disinfecting information. 
  10. Where do I find the SDS information for the disinfectant I received?
    The SDS information should be received with your delivery notice email for standard orders or a printed copy is given with emergency orders.  Refer to the Canadian list of disinfectants and hand sanitizers for use against COVID-19.   
  11. How do I administer a rapid antigen test?
    Instructions are available below for several different brands to support you in administering a rapid antigen test.
