Side-By-Side Mentoring may Include:

  • Side-by-side mentoring using coaching and reflective practice
  • System navigation, referrals & awareness building
  • Support onboarding, policy & procedures based on organizational needs
  • Professional practice discussions & attending staff meetings

Professional Learning Support may Include:

  • Developing Professional Learning plans based on organizational needs
  • Facilitating & planning customized Professional Learning
  • Observations and completing continuous quality improvement tools
  • Facilitating community of practice/networks
Supervisor Peer to Peer Mentoring Initiative:
  • Connect, share, and grow with fellow supervisors across the Halton Region
  • Foster meaningful mentoring relationships between supervisors—creating space for reflection, guidance, and professional growth
  • Engage with a peer mentor to grow professionally through reflective dialogue
  • Share experiences, and collaborative problem-solving
