​​The foundations of early childhood education are ever-evolving, and so is communication with parents. This session will highlight practical approaches to strengthen foundational practices in areas like reading, singing, and transitions, while exploring how to meet parents where they are in today’s communication landscape. Educators will leave with tools to create meaningful partnerships with families and a renewed focus on strategies that support children’s learning and development.

In this session, participants will learn:  
Share updated strategies for reading, singing, and transitions that align with current best practices. Discuss effective communication approaches tailored to modern families’ needs. Learning Outcomes: Reconnect with foundational practices to support children’s learning and development. Explore effective strategies for modern communication with parents. Learn how to foster strong partnerships with families to enhance children’s experiences.

 

Facilitated by: Marcia Nicole, MPED, OCT, RECE, CEO of Ispyr to Educate & Early Years Educational Consultant

Marcia Nicole, a dedicated mother of three and the founder of Ispyr to Educate. Holding a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Curriculum and Development from Western University, and an Ontario Bachelor of Education with an OCT certification, I bring over 20 years of rich experience to early childhood education. My passion is to foster an environment where educators and students thrive together in creativity and discovery.
