Creating Vibrant Places for Living and Learning
Presented by Lorrie Baird and Anne Marie Coughlin
This two-day learning institute will provide an opportunity for early learning professionals in different roles to consider ways to bring the foundations of belonging, engagement, well-being and expression to life in meaningful and relevant ways.
Friday November 17, 2017
On our first day, we will explore leadership from within. We will discover more about who we are as leaders, what drives our practice and how an increased self-awareness influences our relationships and our view of others. We will reflect on the kinds of questions, mindsets, and principles of leadership that supports our own personal growth and in turn, the growth of others.
Saturday November 18, 2017
On day two we will delve into the questions, “Who is the Child?” and “Who am I with the Child?” When we view children from a place of competence it influences and impacts our interactions, our enviroments and how we bring visibility to these competencies. We will explore our evolving roles as educators in support of Ontario’s Pedagogy for the early years.
