Exploring the too frequent journey of African Canadian parents navigating societal vs cultural norms with their child from early childcare and beyond with Zoe Mitchell. Zoe’s mission, is “To create working environments around the world where every employee can contribute and perform at their highest potential.”
About Zoe Mitchell:
Zoe is an award winning ex-corporate leader who is a firm believer in the power of inclusive leadership and the results it can generate. Some of her successes using DEIB include: double digit employee engagement score increases, reduced errors and omissions, hiring and retention of diverse talent,
consecutive years of profitable growth through innovation and much more. Her experience and successes align with inclusion research that confirms; inclusive working cultures drive profitable while ensuring everyone thrives.
Zoe is also the author of the book Inclusive Leadership Now, which is designed to be an introspective tool for anyone to understand the ‘foundation of a successful inclusive leader’.
Goal: Understanding the impacts and importance of representation and implementation of inclusion in childcare facilities.
