Understanding Self-Regulation in the Early Years March 26 & April 2, 2019
6:00pm- 8:00pm
This two-part interactive session will provide you with an understanding of the new buzz word “self-regulation”. What is it, how does it impact you, your classroom and the children in your care? In this session you will learn more about the five step Shanker self-regulation process: reframing the behaviour, identifying stressors, reducing stressors, reflecting and developing a tool box of strategies.

In part two of this session come with your stories and curiosities and be ready to discuss and explore more on this topic. You will have the opportunity to engage in a facilitated discussion, exchange ideas, contribute perspectives, ask questions, and make meaning of new ideas, information and resources.Commitment to both sessions is required.
