THRC is excited to present a second Book Study opportunity with author Susan Stacey. The Unscripted Classroom – Emergent Curriculum in Action

“Step out of your usual scripts and use innovative practices as you respond to children’s budding interests.

The Unscripted Classroom encourages creativity and flexibility as you observe, interact with, and teach children to better support their passion for learning.”

Come to a unique, emerging and interactive six part book study. This book study includes a unique opportunity to explore the book with the author Susan Stacey in three virtual sessions!

During the book study a facilitator is present to guide and support the conversation. The facilitator helps the group discover and create new connections, insights and knowledge.

Possible topics of conversation may include:

  • Emergent curriculum philosophy
  • The examination of creativity in the classroom
  • Observation and planning

Book can be borrowed from THRC or purchased at your local book store
