Teacher Talk: Module III – Fostering Peer Interaction in Early Childhood Settings October 20, 2018
9:00pm – 4:00pm
Fostering peer interaction in early childhood settings addresses how to provide a physical and social environment that both encourages peer interaction for isolated children and creates many opportunities for successful interaction with other children. Participants learn how to:

  • Make the best use of space in the classroom
  • Encourage a variety of groupings for peer interaction
  • Provide materials and activities that promote peer interaction
  • Support children’s interactions with peers

To make the training as relevant as possible to participants experiences, participants come to the training already having completed a        pre-training assignment where they record their observations of peer interactions in the classroom. The first training in the series: Training       A – Encouraging Language Development in Early Childhood Settings is a pre-requisite for this training/module.
