5:30pm-8:00pm
The Teacher Talk Training Series is a Hanen workshop for Early Childhood Educators based on Learning Language and Loving It.

The first training in the series, Encouraging Language Development in Early Childhood Settings, will show you how to use everyday conversations, play and daily routines to promote the communication and social development of all children including those with language delays and those who are second language learners.

Each participant will receive a Teacher Talk workbook.  Available for pick up at 410 Bronte Street during operational hours or call the Resource Library to make arrangements)

To make the training relevant to participants’ experiences, participants come to the training having completed a pre-training assignment in which they record their observations of children in their rooms and how they interact with children in their room. By the end of the training, participants will be able to develop their own Action Plan for children who are challenging to interact with in their classrooms.
