Susan Stacey has been engaged with young children and their teachers in many ways over the last 30 years, as an Early Childhood Educator, Director, Practicum Supervisor, and Teacher Educator. Much of her work has been in the ECE laboratory school settings, where she was able to work with student teachers during their learning journey, and also conduct action research.
Susan’s practices and writing are based on inquiry-based emergent approaches. She presents frequently on emergent curriculum, documentation, reflective practices and inquiry. Susan is the author of Emergent Curriculum in Early Childhood Settings and The Unscripted Classroom: Emergent Curriculum in Action.
