Standard First Aid and CPR-C Training March 5, 2022

8:00am – 4:00pm

Licensed child care supervisors, employees and home child care providers must have a valid Standard First Aid certification, including infant and child cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), as noted in the Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA). This session has a online portion that must be completed prior to attending the Saturday, March 5, 2022. The online portion can only be completed on a computer or laptop. The link to access the online component will be emailed to you one week prior to the training date.

Participant Requirements- COVID-19 Self-Assessment
The COVID self-assessment link will be sent to you via email the day before the session. Please complete and send the assessment screening to the day of the session prior to entering the building.

Arrival Time
Learners are expected to arrive prior to the scheduled start time to ensure training can begin as
scheduled. Late arrivals beyond ten (10) minutes will not be accepted and learners will be excused from
the training program. Extended requests to delay the start of the program beyond agreed upon
scheduled time will be subject to additional fees.
PPE / Training Materials
To safely participate in training, each learner is to bring the following PPE and materials:
‚ÄĘ Face mask(s) – disposable or washable are both acceptable and are to be always worn while in the training room.
‚ÄĘ Pen/scrap paper – printed manual will be provided for classes that require a student guide.
‚ÄĘ Personal hand sanitizer ‚Äď hand sanitizer will be available for learners in the class, but we advise bringing your own to keep with you.
