This workshop will increase an Educators’s ability to support young children developing self-regulation skills from a position of co-regulation in the School-Age classroom. ROCK will discuss self-regulation vs self-control, while addressing the importance of building secure relationships. Interactively, Educators will develop a ‘toolbox’ of relevant ideas and strategies that they can apply in their practice. Discussions will reflect on how the information presented may support and/ or enhance present programming and adult/child relationships.
