Halton Region is pleased to provide financial support to eligible service providers who are closed to accommodate staff participation in the professional learning day on October 28, 2022. This funding is one-time only and funded through the Canada-Ontario Early Childhood Workforce Agreement. For more information please contact [email protected]
Halton Region is be partnering with The Halton Resource Connection (THRC) to host and deliver a virtual professional learning symposium. This session is for all Professionals working in licensed child care and EarlyON programs. The theme of the symposium is Belonging, to build capacity for a Diverse, Equitable and  Inclusive early years and child care community.

We are kicking things off with some laughs and inspiration featuring comedian/author/speaker, Susan Stewart! 

Your New Lenses Are Ready For Pick Up: Seeing The Lighter Side Of Life In Challenging Times

Humour is what she is best known for, Susan will be sharing how changing your perspective (and re-writing the story you’re telling yourself) can help you be resilient in times of adversity or uncertainty.
