Reflecting on Inclusion
May 31 & June 7 2017
6:00pm-8:00pm
This 2 part series will begin with a brief overview about how and when to access community supports in Halton and how to work collaboratively with these services and supports. During both sessions we will explore what inclusion means to you and what it can look like in your program when working with children who have extra support needs. As a group and individually we will reflect on the important components needed in providing a high quality inclusive program and participants will have the opportunity to discuss questions such as; How do we know when we are being inclusive? What is “People First Language?” and How do my beliefs and practices impact the way I work with children and families?
