Loose Parts: Connecting Kids with Nature through Loose Parts Play | February 16. 2017 6:30pm-8:00pm |
|
How do you incorporate loose parts into your program? The ‘loose parts’ theory is about remembering that the best play comes from things that allow children to play in many different ways and on many different levels. Loose parts promote and support imaginative play through open ended, creative expression which occurs naturally when placed in the environment. Using loose parts allows children to develop their own ideas and explore the world around them through self-directed play. During the workshop participants gain ideas in which loose parts could be used in various areas of the play environments. This session will focus on loose parts that could be used outdoors. | ||
