DESCRIPTION:\n\n\nSupervisors Connection: Difficult Conversations \nWednes
 day\, April 30\, 2025\n\n\n9:30am - 12:00pm\n\n\n\nDifficult conversations
  arise in all areas of life. This workshop explores what\nmakes them chall
 enging\, how we’re wired to respond\, and strategies for\nengaging effec
 tively. Participants will gain skills to navigate these conversations\nwit
 h greater ease and wisdom\, fostering more positive outcomes.\nIn this ses
 sion\, participants will learn about the neurobiology of difficult\nconver
 sations. They will develop an understanding of what contributes to\nescala
 tion and the emotions and behaviours associated with difficult\nconversati
 ons. Participants will learn how to self-regulate before and during\ndiffi
 cult conversations\, as well as learn strategies that help others to self-
 regulate.\nLight refreshments will be provided\nFacilitated by: Dr. Elaine
