This workshop is for early years caregivers who are interested in exploring the importance of attachment and relationships, including a brief discussion about attachment theory and situations that illicit attachment. After this workshop caregivers will be able to identify and recognize their role, and the importance of sensitive responses to develop healthy relationships with young children. Information will be shared about current research on the development of the brain and the importance for children within the early years. Participants will reflect on and identify benefits of positive interactions and take away practical strategies that can be incorporated into all early learning environments.
