  1. Is THRC's Resource Library open?
    Effective January 14, the Resource Library is closed to members. Staff are available on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday to assist you and will only offer curbside service on Thursdays.

  3. Am I able to borrow resources from the library?
    Staff are available to support you with your requests and signing out resources and equipment. Please click here for available resources
  4. What will happen with my Quality First for this year?
    THRC will be following the guidelines as directed by the Ministry of Education and health officials upon returning and know that any recommendations may impact the work we may provide the centre.  At this time there is no expectation that programs will be required to complete all QF requirements.  THRC will continue to update the community as needed.
  5. What will happen to my THRC membership fees?
    No fees are being collected during this time and your membership will be continue to be active regardless of your expiry date.   We will provide more details as they become available.
  6. Can I apply for a Support Facilitator to support a classroom?
    Support is available for educators in licensed child care centres through In Centre Support. If you are interested in more information about the program and/or how to apply, please contact [email protected]
  7. Will THRC be offering standard first aid and recertification training?
    As we monitor the impact COVID-19 is having in Halton we will delay offering on site training for first aid.  Once we are able to provide that training we will share the information on our website and in our eConnects.  The  information provided on November 5, 2020 from WSIB regarding expiry dates states that first aid certification has been extended to June 30, 2021.
