Black History Month 2022

Celebrating Black History Month 2022 Banner

As we embark upon Black History Month, it is imperative that we honour the contributions of Black Canadians and that we celebrate Black culture today and every day. We must also combat injustice surrounding anti-Black racism, and take consistent steps toward creating safe communities that challenge systemic oppression, and support Black children and their families to thrive. We can and must do better.
“Do your little bit of good where you are. It’s those little bits of good put together that overwhelm the world.” – Viola Desmond
